Construction Superintendent

Seattle, WA Full-time $75,000 - $95,000

Operations

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in residential and commercial construction.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily construction operations and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and safety compliance
Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents
Maintain detailed project documentation and progress reports
Identify and resolve construction issues and conflicts promptly
Ensure all work complies with building codes and regulations
Communicate project status to project managers and clients regularly

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a construction superintendent
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Proficiency with construction management software

Project Manager

Focus Construction is looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead construction projects from conception through completion. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects
Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
Serve as primary point of contact for clients, architects, and stakeholders
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
Monitor project budgets and implement cost-control measures
Ensure projects meet quality standards and client expectations
Prepare and present regular progress reports to leadership and clients
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes

Qualifications

5+ years of construction project management experience
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Strong understanding of construction processes and building systems
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with project management software and MS Office Suite
PMP certification or willingness to obtain
Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
